Trusts & Estates

IRS Form 1041

Tax returns for trusts, and certain estates are due by April 15, 2025, for calendar year filers.  A tax extension will extend the filing deadline to Oct 15th.

IRS Form 1065

LLC's & Partnerships

Tax returns for Multi Member LLC's and Partnerships are due by March 17, 2025, for calendar year filers. A tax extension will extend the filing deadline to September 15th.

If your S Corporation (Form 1120S) or Partnership/Multi-Member LLC (Form 1065) misses the March 17th tax deadline without filing a return or an extension, the IRS will impose steep late penalties.

🔹 S Corporations: A $245 penalty per shareholder, per month (or part of a month) the return is late.
🔹 Partnerships & Multi-Member LLCs: A $245 penalty per partner/member, per month (or part of a month) the return is late.

Example: If an S Corp with 3 shareholders files 2 months late, the penalty would be $245 × 3 × 2 = $1,470.

Note: The IRS charges these penalties even if no taxes are owed. Don’t risk unnecessary fees—file your extension before the deadline!

In addition, the IRS will charge you interest on any unpaid taxes or late filing penalties. We can help you with filing IRS Form 7004
